He has developed high performance processes to produce goma xantana for the food industry, as wells as microbial alginates. He developed production systems for fruit scents (coconut and peach) with filamentous fungi, as well as devices for a rapid and sensitive determination of sugars, antibiotics and ethanol. He also developed the infrastructure for studies of mixing, image analysis, power consumption and oxygen tranfer in fermentation processes. Enrique Galindo formulated a biofungicide for anthracnose on mango.
